Terms of Service
WasteRadar is a product by Odinext. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using WasteRadar. By creating an account or connecting an Azure subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User", or "You") and Odinext ("Odinext", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of WasteRadar ("WasteRadar"), an Azure cloud cost optimization SaaS product by Odinext. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to bind your organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
WasteRadar is a cloud-native SaaS platform designed to detect idle cloud resources, unattached disks, stopped virtual machines, orphaned snapshots, and unused public IPs across connected Microsoft Azure subscriptions. WasteRadar analyzes telemetry using deterministic rules and cost-metering algorithms to highlight potential optimization opportunities.
3. Azure Connection & Customer Responsibilities
To enable scanning, you provide Azure Service Principal credentials with read-only permissions (`Reader` and optionally `Cost Management Reader`). You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have appropriate authorization within your organization to connect the Azure subscription.
- Limiting the IAM role assignment strictly to read-only roles.
- Safeguarding your WasteRadar account credentials and organization invite links.
4. Read-Only Scope & Zero Mutation Guarantee
WasteRadar functions exclusively as a read-only telemetry and analysis tool. WasteRadar does not have, and will not request, permissions to modify, delete, reboot, or alter your Azure cloud infrastructure. Any remediation actions (such as deleting unattached disks or deallocating VMs) must be performed manually by authorized personnel directly within the Microsoft Azure Portal or CLI.
5. Estimates & Savings Disclaimer
Important Notice Regarding Cost & Savings Calculations
WasteRadar provides financial estimates, potential waste figures, and run-rate projections based on Microsoft Azure public retail pricing and historical telemetry. WasteRadar does not guarantee specific dollar savings, bill reductions, or exact invoice matching. Actual Microsoft Azure billing is subject to your specific enterprise agreement (EA), reserved instances (RI), savings plans, region-specific tax policies, and Microsoft billing cycles.
6. AI Insights & Advisory Nature
Where AI executive summaries or insights are provided, they are intended solely for high-level informational advisory purposes. You should independently verify all recommendations before modifying production infrastructure.
